This is the perfect chuck to hold chamber reamers and taps for threading.
This Chuck allows some movement of the tool so it can self align with the bore.
If the bore is not perfectly centered then reaming will result in an oversize loose chamber.
Allowing the reamer to float slightly will give you better precision.
 
Also excellent for tapping in the lathe.
